Those of you who know me, know that i have, what some may call, a tennis "problem". I'm always bullying people into going out in the hot weather to play with me, pressuring OTHERS to sign their young daughters up on private primary school teams, spending countless hours restringing my rackets and scanning online merchants for the cutest new tennis skirts. But because most of my friends don't play tennis, and a lot of my time lately has been stalking bird and egg, I've only had memories of past tennis happiness to get me through the day. Until this week, which has been full of up at dawn mornings, watching the early rounds of Wimbledon live on the tennis network. Little summer pleasure.

Thanks :) Actually, that was the view from my room at AWP Austin! So, to link to another blog, just highlight the word or phrase that you want to be the link word (like in my post, the thing I highlighted was OTHERS). Then, press the button that looks like a little chain link. It will bring up a little box that asks you what you want to link to. So, for me, I typed in Mary's blog address! If for example you want something embedded--like a video from YouTube or something, you can copy the link from YouTube that says "embed" and paste it right into your posting!!

hey, totally off point (heh!) but i saw josh ritter in a club that seats about 50 people in pittsburgh last year. we were sitting right at the stage. i left madly in love with the boy. wow.
okay, one more help desk question. i can't seem to put in a user image even though i'm using the help menu, etc. and following the directions. oh queen of dweeb, have you any advice? thanks. not a biggie if not.
Do you mean your photo? I'm not sure if it's different for PCs, because I have a Mac. But, I used Photobucket to upload my pic and then generate a URL, which I copy and pasted into the form there. You might have to do it if blogger won't let you just upload your photo. I might be misunderstanding what you mean though by user image. :) It also might be the Scotch, which is interfering with my understanding!!! ha :)
Hee hee hee. I took tennis as a class in school. We were playing doubles and my double smacked me in the face with her racket. It was also my eighteenth birthday. We should play some time. ;)
One time my doubles partner hit me in the back of the head with her racket. I guess it comes with the territory!! And we absolutely MUST play sometime. Maybe at Fairlawn. After the Christmas Buffet. :)
